Pinning Ceremony

Today I had the pinning ceremony for the nursing students. It was really cool and I think probably better than the actual graduation, since it was a little more personal. I have been so busy these last couple of days, with taking that practice test for the NCLEX and getting things ready for this weekend. I have a lot of friends and family coming up here to stay with me so I'm trying to get the house cleaned. Tomorrow is Senior send off so that should be fun. Well I'd love to write more, but I'll have to fill ya in later because i'm going out with some friends.

WOW.......

Thats all I can say. I can't believe I just took my last final ever today!! It still hasn't really hit me yet. I'm not really sure how the test went today. It was in Gero, and I didn't find out that there was a study guide for the test until an hour before I had to take it. I was also a little excited so sitting down to take a test was nearly impossible. I found out that I got a B on my psych final yesterday and an A in the class so I was happy with that. Tonight after the final all the nurses met at Old Chicago, that was fun. So tomorrow I have one more test. It's not a final, but a pretest for the NCLEX, just to see how you place. That should be interesting.  Today was such a beautiful day outside, I'm looking forward to the nice weather tomorrow too!!!

One more final......

Today I had my psych final at 8am it was a little rough getting up for that. I couldn't fall asleep last night because I took a nap yesterday and slept until 6:00. So when I went to go to bed last night I couldn't fall asleep. that and my cat was driving me crazy, she thought it was time to play and for some reason she goes crazy when I bring out my ipod because she likes to attack the cords. Anyways I think the test went pretty good. I will find out tomorrow. Tomorrow I have my last final EVER... it is in Gero. I'm having a little trouble wanting to study. At least it isn't until later in the day so I can study tomorrow too. I also just got an email saying that I am missing one of my papers. I am pretty sure that I turned it in a while ago, but anyways I might have to work on that tomorrow too. Other than that I am excited to spend the next week hanging out with my friends.

Procrastination

So I have been putting off studying all day. I just can't get motivated to get working on it. I did however get some laundry done and I did taebo so I feel pretty good about that. I have my leadership class tonight so I did a little bit of homework for that. It has been a pretty boring day today, because by the time that I woke up everyone was gone, it has just been me and my cat. She gives me good company, sometimes a little too much I can't get anything done because she is always trying to sit with me or following me around. Tonight I probably won't feel like studying either because I have to get up early for my class tomorrow. It's probably going to be pretty rough for me to get up because I have been sleeping in until 10 or 11 everyday. So for sure tomorrow night and sunday I will be studying all day. I also found out that I got the apartment if I want it that I had been looking at for this summer. I'm pretty excited about that and now i'm busy shopping online for furniture and stuff. Oh it's so exciting. Well I gotta go get ready. Have a good weekend.

Being productive

Today I was a little more productive than I have been the past couple of days. I didn't get up until 10:00 again today, but I kept telling myself that i have to take advantage while I can. I worked out today which felt good. Jenna and I also went for a walk today. I didn't get as much studying done as I had hoped, but I had a lot of busy work I had to get done, so I am glad I got that out of the way. Tomorrow and Sat I will be finishing up my last class. I also am planning on studying for my psych final tomorrow. Not much else is new. I'm watching Grey's right now and i'm actually a little disappointed so far in this weeks episode, but it's an extra hour tonight so i'm hoping that it's gonna get better.
