A Beautiful Day

    Hey everyone! How is it going? It is going pretty good here. Well I woke up this morning and it was beautiful outside. The sun was shining and it was a perfect temperature. Well today I had my test for cosmic systems, and I am sort of worried about how well I did. It am sort of weird about the test because a lot of the information I studied wasn't on there. It was just a really messed up test I thought and so did a lot of people that were in my class. So I will have to see how I did on Monday and I will let you know. Then after that went to lunch were I ate a hamburger and fries. Then after lunch I went to my mythology which was really boring.

    Well at about 4:00 I think Jessica and I are going to go to Goosberry Falls which should be a lot of fun because it is so nice outside. Then when we get back we are going to do our homework and get it all done for the weekend tonight. Anyways I better get going. Have a good weekend.

Meeting With My Highschool Teacher

    Hey everyone! How is it going? It is going good here. Well today was an easy day. I only had one class which was really nice. Today in my education class all I did was listen to the last day of groups present their projects. After they presented their project the teacher gave back my groups project that we did. We ended up getting at 92% on it which is about an A-. I was so thrilled that we got that good of a grade on it. Then after that I ended up just coming back to my place and watched TV until I had to meet with my field experience teacher.

    At 2:45 I met with my field experience teacher and it was great. She was such a sweet old lady and I think that it should be a fun experience, so I am sort of excited about it. Then later tonight I am going to watch the office, then study for my cosmic systems test. Anyways I better get going because I am hungry and I am going to make something to eat. Anyways I will talk to you tomorrow and let you know how I did on my test.

A Dull Day

    Hey everyone! How is it going? It is going good here. Well today is going to be a long boring, but easy day. It is going to be boring and easy because in both of my classes all I am doing is hearing lecture and writing down notes. I just wish that they were a little most stimulating. Then after class I have to take three quizzes on Web TC which should be pretty easy because they are all open book quizzes. Then after I am done with that I am going to go workout at the Wellness Center.

    Then later tonight I have my FYDP peer mentor meeting at 8:00. Then after that I am going to study for my cosmic systems test on Friday. Today has been a pretty dull day, but tomorrow should be a little more exciting because I get to meet my teacher that I will be working with at Hermantown High school. I am a nervous about it but at the same time excited about it. We will have to see how it goes tomorrow and I will be sure to let you know. Anyways I better get going.

Running Around

    Hey everyone? How is it going? Well it is cloudy up here today. Yesterday we got some rain and I think it might do the same today, perhaps all week. Well today I only have one class, which is at 10:00 and all I have to do is sit back and listen to what they have to say. After class Jessica and I are going to Barns and Nobles so I can look at a lichen field book, so that I can determine which types of lichen species I found. Then after that we are going to go to Walgreen's to develop some of my picture of the lichens I took.

    Later tonight I am going to try and get as much homework done as possible. I have to type a study guide up for my cosmic systems class, because I have a test this Friday in the class. Then later tonight I am going to probably relax and watch a movie with my roommates. Anyways I better get going to class. Until next time blog you later.

Fun Weekend

    Hey everyone! How is it going? It is going good here. Well let me first start off by telling you about my weekend. It was a really good weekend, I went home and saw my family which was really great. On Friday when I got home my family and I went out to eat at Boston's, which serves pizza and it was really good. Then on Saturday I went to my high schools football game and we ended up winning 21-8. Then on Saturday late afternoon my dad and I went out to the farm and we shot our guns and I got to see my deer stand. Then after the Vikings game on Sunday we ended up coming back to Duluth. Then on Sunday night I watched Family Guy and then I watched the football game.

    As for today I have class until 2:00 then I have to do my lichen field study out in the woods. Then after that I am going to do a lot of homework. Also I am going to watch the football game tonight then I think I am going to go to bed and get a good night sleep. Anyways I will talk to you later.

Going Home for the Weekend

    Hey everyone! How is it going? It is going good here. Well today is a really humid and muggy day. So this morning I walked to class and it was really nasty out. Then once I arrive on campus I went to my first class which was cosmic systems, where we watched two movies on plate tectonics. Then after that class I ate lunch in Storms with Jessica and Dave. I had a burrito and it was really good. Then after that Jessica and I went to mythology together.

    At about 3:00 then I am going to go home for the weekend and it should be a nice break. I am excited to go home though just because I haven't been home for about a month now. Anyways I better get on my way. Until next time blog you later.

Presentation Today

    Hey everyone! How is it going? It is going good here. Well last night I got a bad nights sleep, I could not sleep because I was worried about giving my speech today. So when I woke up I practice my speech a couple of times as I walked to school. Then when I got to school at 9:00 I went to my class were we found out our placement in a high school. I found out that my placement was in Hermentown and that I could be teaching with another science student in my class. Then after that I went to my class were I have to give my presentation on positive discipline. After I gave my speech on positive discipline I thought I did bad, but my teacher said I did good. It was a really hard speech for me because I did not agree with this type of discipline and I had to act like I was for it and it was very difficult.

    Then after class Jessica and I went to Amaco were we had to buy a new battery for Jessica's car because her was bad. Then after that we had lunch at Subway. Then after that I went to Jessica's house were I worked on my Mythology paper. Then once I got back to my room Zach and I went to workout at the Wellness Center and we played 8 games of basketball and I one 5 of them. It was really fun and I played really good basketball against him. Then for the rest of the night I am going to work on homework. Anyways I better get going.

Lichen Field Study and Practicing Presentation

    Hey everyone! How is it going? It is going good here well today is going to be a long day. I have two boring classes today, then after that I have to do research on my field study about lichens, then after that I have to meet with a group to work on our presentation for tomorrow. So today after my classes I worked on my lichen field study project and I went into the woods and collected lichen data. For collecting lichen data I had to take pictures of the trees with lichens on them and then write down the data that I found. The data that I recorded consisted of the lichens, color, description, size, how many, and the location on the tree. Then after doing that I ended up working on my presentation about positive discipline with my group. Anyways sorry to cut this short but I have a lot to do today. I will blog you later.

A Short Day

     Hey everyone! How is it going? It is going good here. Well today when I woke up it was raining out so I ended up having to drive to school, because I did not want to walk in the rain. Then once I got to school I went to my first and only class of the day. In my education class we got to work in our groups for our research project, which lastest the whole class period. Then after class Zach, Dave, and I went to the Wellness Center to workout. We ended up just playing basketball in the gym. We just played 21 and I ended up winning. Then after that we went back to our place and I made something to eat. After eating I took about a hour nap before I had to go to the library with my Jessica.

    Then at 5:00 Jessica and I went to the library where I read mythology and Jessica had to watch a movie for class. Then after we were done doing our homework Jessica and I went on a date to Storms Den were we had supper together. Later tonight then I am going to watch TV with my roomates and finish up some of my homework.

Lazy Weekend

    Hey everyone! How was your weekend? My weekend was pretty good. On Friday night Dave and I went to the movie Superbad and it was really funny. It was sick humor, but we both liked it. Then on Saturday morning I finished all my homework, which was really nice because I was all done by 12:00 and finished everything. Then Saturday night I went over to Jessica's and I made her chicken Alfredo. Then later that night we watched a movie at her house. We just took it easy. Then on Sunday I went grocery shopping, because my mom gave me $25 at Cub Foods. (Thanks Mom) Then I came back to my place and Zach, Dave, and I watched football all day long. It was rather disappointing to see the Viking loose though.

    Well as for today I have class from 10:30-2:00 then after classes I am going to start my research project about lichens and observe three different birch trees. Then around 4:00 I am going to work out at the Wellness Center. Then to end the night I am going to watch Monday Night Football.
