Hey everyone! How is it going? Well it is going great today, it is going great today because I had a really good day. Well today I got to teach all three of the Life Science classes without the teacher's help, which was a really good experience. Today I taught about the scientific method and it was a really good lesson. Also during my lesson I had my teacher evaluate me and she said I did a very good job. She said I was confident, I had a well planned lesson, and presented the material really good. She said I did a very good job and that she has not had a student teacher as good as I have been thus far, which was really great to hear, and that is why I am having such a great day.
As far as the high school went we basically just taught about insect behavior and had the student's complete a work sheet on insect behavior. We really did not do a whole lot, but it was all good, because I was really tired after teaching my three lessons at the middle school. As far as tonight I am going to workout when I get home and go for a run. Then after that I am going to watch the football game. Also tonight I have to plan a lesson or two for the rest of the week. Well anyways I better get going.

"The scientific method" Let's understand science. We start with basic principles (i.e., consistent mathematics), use logic, and examine results. Teaching must focus on what students think, and build from there using basic principles. See "Teaching and Helping Students Think and Do Better" on amazon.
