Well, looks like this is going to be my last blog before I enter the real world. How exciting.
It had been quite an interesting two years for me here at St. Scholastica, living on my own for the first time, blogging about the experience, and so on. I had some times as a college student I'll never forget, and made some life long connections as well.
So, now what? Well, tonight I have to write a research paper which is going to be hard to get working on. Only 1000 words but man, I don't want to do anything anymore.
Had my only final test yesterday in Linux and got a B, which is all I was hoping for. I should get a B+ in the class with any luck.
The CIS department had a meeting for presentations and stuff Monday that was pretty interesting. I had some pizza. It was good. Then I stuck around for James Boit's presentation so I could get some extra credit. Awesome.
All I have left besides the paper is I have to attend a couple classes that aren't even having exams, and I am done forever. That's so strange. This being about my 17th year of school (including kindergarten), it's hard to imagine a life without school. Next Fall is going to be a surreal experience for sure.
This summer my life is pretty much up in the air. I still don't have my internship so, shoot. I'm looking though and hoping to find one soon. If I'm lucky. Other than that I might try to get my old band back together for old times sake. Otherwise... my future is an unwritten book. Or some such other cliche'.
St. Scholastica taught me a lot, and life on my own taught me a lot as well. Now it's time to put that training to use. Have a great summer everyone.
