I know you've heard it all before
And everyone makes mistakes these days... hey nobody's
perfect
But the choices that you make may involve someone else.
Happy Friday. I guess.
I have a weekend of work to look forward to, but whatever. I know I'm gonna get some Sbarro's before hand, probably the chicken parmesian. Mmmmm...
Work is going to be hectic for sure and I am barely trained in so, this should definitely not be fun. I also find out if I get next weekend off or not and I will be so mad if I don't. I won't actually be able to do anything about it but whatever. I just want to go home ASAP.
I am a little paranoid about Christmas break and how much I will get to go home. Hopefully for at least a few 3 or 4 day spans. I'm gonna try to get at least one full week after new year's when everyone at my workplace is back from their winter vacations they were given for some reason.
Anyway... School is going well. The only class I'm worried about is Computing Concepts, but I think if I do well on the Powerpoint I haven't started yet I should be fine. Sometime next week I'll have to spend like, a whole night at the school on it. Should be real fun. Sigh. Wish I would have known about the deal on Window's office before I bought the cheap one that doesn't have powerpoint.
Anyway, yesterday was normal enough. I did end up getting out to the wellness center once I got the cable bill money from the guys. What a comedy of errors this turned out to be.
I get there and just can not find the locker room. I felt pretty stupid but after asking the front desk girl like 3 times I finally understood where to go.
I realized I didn't bring a combo lock so I spent the entire time paranoid about my stuff getting taken.
After wandering around and feeling a tad foolish I went on the treadmill for a half hour of speed walking with a couple bursts of jogging while listening to Bayside on my Zen. I am pretty out of shape but I'm proud that when my legs started to give out I pressed on with the speed walking and felt fine after wards. I probably would have gone more intense but I didn't want to test my limits just yet, and thankfully my legs feel fine today so my fear of being unable to move them has been alleviated.
Then I went on this pec deck thing for a little bit, just 5X5 of 90 pounds that I was barely able to finish.
But yeah, I'm gonna go back and focus on cardio with maybe some curling and pressing for my arms. My main concern is losing weight rather than gaining mass, but the thing is I'm a good weight for my height, it's just all concentrated in my gut rather than where it could be.
So I go back and change, realize I didn't bring a change of boxers or socks. Gross... luckily though I hadn't really broken a sweat, and thank goodness cause that would have made for an uncomfy ride home.
Speaking of the ride home, my ever reliable gas gauge was suddenly on E so I barely made it to a gas station and filled up before remembering I forgot my wallet at home due to my fear of my locker getting broken into.
After cursing myself and fruitlessly trying to call my roomates for 20 minutes, the clerk actually let me go get money if I left my cell phone. It was a long drive back to Superior and back but the deed was done.
Came home, watched one of my favorite movies High Fidelity on TV, and then hit the sack cause I was very tired.
As for today, Java was normal enough, except that out of nowhere we all were instructed to do the hokey pokey. The entire thing.
Hahaha... this school just gets funnier every day.
Anyway, Kinda mad I am missing some of the sweet events this weekend cause of work, like cage fighting and a christian rock concert here at CSS. One day soon I will have a day when I don't have to go home and I don't have work and can actually enjoy the events around here.
Until then, I'm out. See you Monday, have a good weekend.
