Finished Finals and Ready for Summer!!

Hello!

    Well, I'm finished with my freshman year of college! I was done with finals on Wednesday around 3:30. It feels great to be done because I'm so ready for summer. :) It's been so nice out lately and I love it!

    My parents and Laura helped me move my stuff out. It wasn't too bad either. We got everything to the car in only three trips. So I'm back home now and it feels great. I'm still trying to unpack everything, but I'm almost done. I've mostly been relaxing and enjoying not having to do anything, which is much needed after finals week...

    I'm looking forward to summer, although it's going to be really busy with my summer class. We found out some exciting news today. My sister, Laura, is engaged to her boyfriend Josh! So I'm guessing we'll be planning and stuff this summer. I think they're planning on getting married in 2010 on New Year's Eve. I'm really happy for them. :)

    My family and I will be back in Duluth on Saturday. Laura is graduating on Sunday. We're staying in a hotel in Canal Park and it should be really fun! There's just a lot of excitement in the Guse household right now.

    Well, I guess this is goodbye until next time. I hope you all end your school year well and have a wonderful and safe summer! I can't wait to fill you in on my life once fall comes rolling around again. :)

Hello!

Oh Biology...

Hey!

    One more final! Hooray!!! I took my second final this morning. It was for Spanish and it was extremely easy! :) Thank goodness, because my last one, in biology, will most likely be very difficult. I take it tomorrow at 2:00pm. And then I'm done! My parents are coming up to move me home. I packed almost all of my stuff up this afternoon. I don't think I have too much stuff...compared to my roommates. Hahaha. I'll finish packing tomorrow before I take my final, since I'll have plenty of time.

    I don't feel like I've studied biology enough, which is worrisome. I went to the library to study this evening because I kept getting distracted in my room. Then I got really thirsty, so I had to come back. So, I've just been studying all day and night... I guess that's all I have to say. It's been a boring week so far, mostly because I've been studying and taking finals. I can't wait to be done!

One Down, Two to Go!

Hello!

    One final down, two more to go! I'm so excited!!! :) This week is off to a great start and it's moving quickly, so that's good. I took my calculus final today and I think it went pretty well. I took a survey that we needed to take for cross country after that. It only took about 10 minutes and it just asked questions about drug use while participating in a sport. And since I don't use drugs, it was fast and easy to fill out. :) I had lunch with Laura after that. Then I worked for an hour. I'm trying to get all of my hours in this week so I can get one last paycheck. :)

    I'm taking my Spanish final tomorrow morning at 10:00. It should be pretty easy.  I think I've gotten 100% or more on all of my tests, quizzes, and assignments...so I'm really not worried about this one. After that test is out of the way, I'm moving onto biology. That's my last final and I take it on Wednesday at two. Now that's one that I'm worried about! I've been trying to study for it in between studying for calculus and Spanish, but it's difficult. I felt like calculus was my main priority this weekend, so I devoted most of it to it. I studied Spanish for a little bit tonight and now I've been studying biology. I will continue to study biology tonight and then again tomorrow. Our test is on the digestive and circulatory systems. It's really interesting stuff, but there are a lot of tiny details that make it tricky. It's a lot more interesting than studying calculus, let me tell you that. Uff-dah, I'm so glad to be done with calculus!!

    Right now, my life consists of studying and that's about it. I'm looking forward to starting to pack tomorrow and then going home on Wednesday! But until then, I need to do some more studying. :) I hope you're enjoying the warm weather! It's so nice up here, but I heard it's supposed to rain tomorrow...ick.
